With my experience as a working single mum, I know that any change needs to be practical, adapted to your situation and positive to be integrated in your daily routine.
I have always been enjoying tasty food and an active lifestyle. Through my life on organic farms and research as agricultural engeneer, I had the pleasure to discover the link between natural food, individual well-being, and planetary health. Personal health issues directed me to Macrobiotics as a holistic approach to improve my overall physical health, balance my emotions, and fully deploy the opportunities that life is offering.
In 2019, I decided to follow macrobiotic studies, first at the Kushi Institute of Europe, then with Simon Brown (Chi Energy) and from 2022 on at the International Macrobiotic School. A journey which I still enjoy pursuing myself and together with others, e.g. as member of the Macrobiotic Association.
The term 'Macrobiotics' derives from Greek, meaning living a big life. For me, macrobiotics is like a compass which gives guidance on how to reach fulfilment, wellbeing, and physical health by making own choices on lifestyle and diet. The macrobiotic approach respects that each person is unique and helps to discover our way to physical and emotional health.
Macrobiotic health coaching accompanies people on their journey to regain the skills and confidence so that they can achieve their self-identified goals. Read more about macrobiotic health coaching here.
A macrobiotic diet is based on combining healthy traditional food, including fresh vegetables, whole grains or their products, beans, fruit, nuts, seeds, pickles, fermented foods, herbs, seasonings and sea vegetables. Macrobiotics is an open, flexible, and adaptable approach to eating that can include a wide variety of foods for social events and special occasions.
